Someone Tried to Cancel Me
Hey guys! I had a great week in LA this past week, I will dedicate a future podcast to that adventure, but feeling great! Which is good, because this week I want to talk about a story that I quietly mentioned 2 years ago when it happened, but have mostly remained silent on, the time someone went on an all out war to cancel me… Plus restaurant news with a new Sichuan spot in Williamsburg, two new rooftops, and so much more! And of course, what I’m into this week! ONLY FOR YOU, merch is still on sale with this exclusive newsletter code “MARCH12” for 12% off on JeremyJShop.com and that’s on top orders over $75 now get free shipping!

BEST BITE OF THE WEEK 🍴

So why did someone try and cancel me? It’s beyond stupid, but still enraging, and you won’t believe how far he went to try and take me down…and it somehow involves both Shake Shack, and the Pennsylvania Governors Race! This is a long story, which is a little difficult to get across in writing, so I definitely recommend either watching, or listening to the podcast this week! It’s available everywhere podcasts are found, and links below! “Let Me Tell You Why…with Jeremy Jacobowitz”!

MUSIC
This came out maybe a month or so ago, but I’ve been listening to the new Drake album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U! Honestly, overall it’s fine, I find that modern Drake just puts out albums that are so long, and easily has like 5 songs her can cut, but then we get to Nokia, which samples the old Nokia ringtone, and this song IS A BANGER! If I just need a little endorphin boost, I put this one, and I’m feeling great! Listen Here
PODCAST
We can debate the finale, but How I Met Your Mother is one of my favorite shows of all time, and just last week the series creator Craig Thomas, and star, Josh Radnor launched a their rewatch podcast “How We Made Your Mother” As a giant fan, I was instantly on board, but the really interesting part to me here is Josh, who played Ted on the show. For years it seemed like he did everything he could to get away from Ted and the show, and it’s so nice to see him come to peace with it, and be ready to fall back in love with this show that meant so much to so many. That’s a little of the subtext to the podcasts so far. Listen Here
